Dimopoulos Estate was founded by Panagiotis Dimopoulos continuing a three-generation family tradition in winemaking. His grandfather, Dimitris Dimopoulos, planted the first family vineyard in 1930. During the 60’s, his father Pantelis brought his wine trade to nearby regions, mainly in the city of Kastoria where he created a large sales network.

In 2014, Panagiotis Dimopoulos, who previously ran a construction business, decided to continue the family tradition in winemaking. He planted a bigger vineyard in Xino Nero, an area famous for its sparkling water. Today Dimopoulos Estate produces high quality grapes and world class wines based on the local variety of Xinomavro, which highlights the unique terroir of Xino Nero Amyndeon.
